The Concordia Annual Research & Innovation Conference was a net new event which needed its own identity, nested within the Concordia brand. Since the institutional goal was to re-invigorate and stimulate research at Concordia University of Edmonton (CUE), I chose to use brand colours to create the effect of 3D glasses. This represented the varied research at CUE coming together to form a ā€œ3Dā€ view of the University.

Each year I evolved the design to capitalize on increased market awareness of the event. For the upcoming 2025 conference, I changed the look to symbolize a lighthouse bulb, positioning CUE as a new leader in post-secondary research.
